Westover was originally developed as a private country club to cater to a select group of founding/charter members in the Philadelphia area. Over the years, it was decided that giving the general public access would be an exciting addition to the club's dynamic. This transition made Westover "semiprivate", offering graduated memberships and pay-to-play golf.

Today, Westover Country Club is 100% open to the public and completely dedicated to meeting the needs of our guests. We take great pride in the club and are sure you will enjoy the many qualities that make Westover great.

The Clubhouse

A design that marries colonial charm with modern lines, makes Westover's clubhouse unique. Rich red brick, quaint shutters, baluster lined patios, and a stately portico are a few of the club's striking architectural appointments. The interior was recently renovated with similar transitional influences and offers a rich, yet relaxing atmosphere. In addition, the clubhouse has generous locker rooms, a golf shop, private terrace lounge, and a full service restaurant & bar.

Premium Public Golf Course

The club features 18 holes of George Fazio designed golf and is home to charming wildlife and lush vegetation. With just the right mix of hills, hazards, and natural obstacles, Westover is an exciting alternative to other public courses. In fact, many note that our course plays like a private course. This is not surprising since Westover was originally designed as a private country club. To learn more about playing golf at Westover, please visit our Golfing section.
